As a Food Service (Cafe) Job Coach in our Client Services Department, you will provide support and training to the individuals served in our cafe, ensuring efficient, safe, and effective operation of the site. Work together with the individuals and other staff to meet and exceed customers' expectations, donation profitability, and quality vocational training for the individuals served.
Responsibilities- Provide support and training to individuals served in the cafe
- Ensure efficient, safe, and effective operation of the site
- Work with staff to meet and exceed customers' expectations, donation profitability, and quality vocational training
- Complete and submit required paperwork, including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies, and case management documentation
- Provide continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives
- Maintain a courteous, positive, and professional demeanor while working with individuals served and the community
- Stay informed of current sales, promotions, payment policies, exchanges, and security practices
- Market and merchandise the cafe to increase sales, revenue, and provide a friendly atmosphere
- Valid driver's license (driving is required for this position)
- Ability to pass a LiveScan background check
- Reliable transportation
- Patience, compassion, and ability to be a role model for adults with disabilities
- Familiarity with Food Health & Safety Regulations
Anticipated starting pay: $18.00 per hour plus perks/benefits. This is a full-time position. Work schedule will be Monday-Friday.
(Full Salary range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour)
