Powerlink has an immediate need for a highly motivated Café Food Service Attendant with strong customer service skills to join our Foodservice Operations team. Powerlink is a provider of Healthcare Integrated Services to Long-Term Care and Senior Living Facilities and Corporate Dining, throughout the United States. We provide award-winning and highly successful solutions within the areas of Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Institutional Laundry Services and Facility Maintenance.
Job Summary
The Café Food Service Attendant is responsible for providing customers with excellent Food Service by maintaining a clean and attractively stocked service area. Responsible for all general sanitation and cleaning including, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and taking out trash. Assist with taking customer orders and completing customer payment transactions. Assist the café cook with serving meals to customers as necessary. Works with the café manager to ensure that customer service expectations are met.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service.
Minimum one (1) year of Food Service experience.
Must be able to speak, read and write English to communicate effectively with others.
Must be able to work Monday - Friday with flexible hours.
Must be able to independently execute all open and closing procedures for the café.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Must be local to DeLand, Florida and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualification
Associate degree in Food Service management, food and nutrition, hospitality, culinary arts degree, or related field.
Current ServSafe certification.
