What We Are Looking For
We seek a talented and driven CAD technician capable of thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will ensure the precision of both their work and that of others, demonstrating a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential, including the abilities for analytical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. We value candidates with excellent organizational skills, the capability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn and follow directions. Duties Include
- 3D Modeling: Develop accurate 3D models of products and equipment, ensuring high-quality representations that meet project specifications.
- Drawing Creation: Generate detailed arrangement drawings from 3D models for both client review and field installation purposes. This includes the creation of bills of materials, installation guides, egress plans, and various detailed drawings as necessary.
- Conveyor Design: Employ Automation NiC software to create, modify, and configure conveyor 3D models. Training will be provided to ensure proficiency with this tool.
- Standards Adherence: Adhere to company and CAD standards, applying product guidelines diligently to maintain quality and uniformity in design work.
Key Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree for engineering drafting and design or equivalent.
- 1-3 years’ work-related experience
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- AutoCAD 2020 3D modeling, Xref and model space/paper space knowledge and experience
- CEMA unit handling conveyors standard knowledge desired but not required.

Salary: Negotiable. Starting at $55,000 based on experience
