Powder Coating Technician.

Our client is starting a powder coating line. We are looking for experienced powder coating technicians to help. These are direct hire positions.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply powder coating to metal surfaces ...

Ensure proper coverage and thickness of powder
Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired results
Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or rework
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with other duties as assigned
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
Familiarity with welding, machining, and materials handling is beneficial
Familiarity with operating a crane is a plus
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
1 year minimum powder coating experience
Mechanical knowledge and proficiency with power tools
Experience with assembly and disassembly of parts and components
Proficient in airless paint spraying techniques for powder coating application
Ability to interpret work orders and follow instructions accurately
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality control
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
