Cad Drafter

Our client is looking for a full-time CAD Drafter at their location in Fort Worth, TX. They will work closely with the following people: division engineer, quality control, and production to make sure product is accurate and up to standards.

Responsibilities:

-Prepare and maintain accurate catalog drawings

-Create 3D models from 2D drawings

-Prepare products/drawings as needed for special projects and the sales team and maintain drawing books for production

-Stay on top of timelines and volume of work

-Keep database up to date on all projects (Autodesk, hardcopies, and engineering documents)

-Will need to learn requirements of process control, inspection, and testing in production from the Quality Control Inspector

Requirements:

-High School Diploma or equivalent

-Skilled in SolidWork and AutoCAD

-Must be able to read civil and construction plans

-Must be able to read, review, and understand contract drawings and specifications

-Must be able to interpret a sketch

-Basic math skills

-Detail oriented

-Time efficient and motivated to finish tasks

-Must be able to communicate clearly and well with others

-Multitask with several projects with little help/guidance

-Skilled in Microsoft Office

-Work closely with others
