Responsibilities:

Proficiency with AutoCAD 2024, organizes and manages drawing elements within layers; familiarity with plan view, profile view, section view; ability to retain learned procedures and skills from week to week. Proficiency in English, Grammar and Spelling. Accuracy and quality in what we produce is our bottom line.

Computer-aided drafter to assist CAD designer/Drafter and Project Civil Engineer with preparation of Civil municipal land development drawings for sites, plan/profile drawings in accordance with company-established standards, report exhibits and covers; reports to the CAD designer/Drafter and Project Engineer; organizes and manages assigned project drawing files according to established company standards.

Must have reliable transportation to arrive at work place on time; Drug Free (zero tolerance) and Smoke Free work place. West Houston Office.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 1-hr. lunch, M-F.

Pay Rate / Range: Hourly / $20 - $25 depending on prior experience and qualifications.

Prior office experience as a Civil CAD drafter with municipal drawings is desirable.
