Musco Sports Lighting is seeking a CAD Drafter to assist the Research and Development team with creation of product part and assembly models and drawings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience using CAD software and experience with design, configuration, and drafting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create new and revise existing product part and assembly models and drawings
- Create and revise PCB design documentation
- Manage distribution of 3D models to recipients inside and outside Musco
- Administer product data management database containing model and drawing templates and models and drawing’s part files
Job Specifications
- Proficient with Creo, AutoCAD 2019 or newer, Autodesk Inventor 2020 or newer
- Proficient with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standards
- Proficient with Word and Adobe
- Proficient in engineering document control practices
- Knowledge of Altium for PCB design
- Knowledge of Inventor Vault or other PDM systems
- Knowledge of Excel and Access database
- Knowledge of mechanical, structural, electrical, and electronic products and components
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of two years degree in drafting, design, configuration management, or relevant courses.
- Minimum three years’ experience in 2D & 3D CAD drafting, engineering document control, coordinating with engineers, and developing documentation at a company that develops and manufactures products.
- Use of Creo, AutoCAD, Altium, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, and/or similar systems
