Every day you will:
- Utilizes sketches, customer specifications, and other documents to support design activity for developing mechanical concepts.
- Incorporates acceptable tolerances and dimensions as determined for specific capacities, operating requirements, and material selection.
- Prepares bills of material for specific designs as they are developed and detailed.
- Documents project through its development, sign-off, final review, and release.
- Performs investigative and research work pertinent to designs to assist Design Engineers as needed.
To thrive in this environment you must:
- CAD degree preferred or two years related experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in 3D software packages. SolidWorks is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Prior leadership skills highly preferred for future career development.
