Design Supervisor
A internationally recognized medical device manufacturing company is seeking a Design Supervisor to join their expanding team in the Jacksonville, FL area! The Design Supervisor will work in tandem with the Engineering Division Manager to oversee personnel in the manufacturing of precision implantable medical devices for use in life-changing surgical applications for patients. The Design Supervisor will lead, manage, and develop 15 designers in the execution of their daily responsibilities and adherence to standards of safety and quality while reporting to the Division Manager. Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily activities, processes, and employees for tasks within the design department.
• Learn and familiarize self with the entire portfolio of pertinent Individual Patient Solution (IPS) products.
• Maintain performance standards for employees who are utilizing CAD (Freeform) for product design.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication, processes, and training.
• Create, maintain, and execute training plans.
• Promote process unity and conformity within the company and across other teams.
• Collaborate and coordinate between multiple departments such as: data validation, coordination, planning, design quality
Qualifications:
• BS Degree in technical related field (Required)
• 2+ years of experience managing personnel in a technically driven field (Required)
• Prior CAD experience, any software package (preferred)
