SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the following: maintaining parts in inventory tracking system; performing usage analysis; keeping Parts Room clean and orderly; dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed; identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers; releasing purchase requisitions for approval; receiving all maintenance parts; signing vendor tickets; filling out receiving reports for accounts payable; delivering parts to maintenance personnel for particular job; stocking inventory in Parts Room and printing documentation on inventory replenishment; unload supply trucks; prioritizing daily work with minimum supervision; other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Extra consideration given to applicants with maintenance, technical, computer and customer service experience; experience working with parts and tools a plus.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includes receiving and accounts payable; competent in Windows-based software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word, and the ability to learn Tyson Maintenance system in 90 days.
Communication Skills: Must possess a high level of verbal/written communication skills. Bilingual a plus.
Travel: None.
Other Requirements: Ability to unload supplies lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently; knowledge, skills, and abilities to do intermediate math and accounting; perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy, ability to prioritize and multi-task, work without supervision, be detail oriented and have good attendance; ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations/maintenance.
