SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for inventory control in the storeroom environment as well as receiving, storing supplies, Issuing materials, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers. In this position you will be required to assist others in the Parts Room and ensuring work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Other duties include Maintaining inventories in the computer system, completing part requisitions, creating purchase orders, assigning vendor Tyson numbers, ensuring parts are stored in their assigned bins with proper minimum/maximum levels, expediting parts and purchase orders, maintaining the appearance and organization of the storeroom in the absence of the Supervisor, and other duties/tasks as assigned.
This position will be A Shift:
Wednesday 10am-6:30pm Thursday-Saturday 6am-6:30pm
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: GED or High School diploma preferred.
Experience: Experience in maintenance, or Parts Room/warehouse required
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP experience is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to employees, management, and suppliers.
Special Skills: Ability to read and write, possess basic math skills, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift objects weighing 50 pounds.
