Description

Engineer, design, develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) software for Instrument Panel Clusters (IPC), Freeform IPCs, Digital Cockpit touch screen, and Center Stack Modules (CSM), in C and C++ programming languages, in QNX and Linux operating systems, using IBM Rational Rhapsody, Altia Graphical User Interface (GUI) Renderer, EPIC Unreal Engine,and QT Creator tools, for GM conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) passenger vehicle, Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). Use Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Vector CANalyzer and CANoe tools, in Agile methodology for current and future model year vehicle programs and global markets (China, North America, South America, and Rest of World) to meet vehicle specific and embedded software architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements. Develop device driver software using C and C++ depending on microcontrollers and processor, Real Time Operating System (RTOS) for infotainment embedded hardware. Coordinate suppliers for any defects that occur during development of Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), Freeform IPCs, Digital Cockpit touch screen, and Center Stack Modules (CSM) software and ensure displays properly function in an integrated system

Additional Description

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Developer, Engineer, or related role.  Experience with: engineering or developing Human Machine Interface (HMI) software for Instrument Panel Clusters (IPC) and Center Stack Module (CSM), in C and C++ programming languages, in QNX and Linux operating systems, using IBM Rational Rhapsody tool, Altia Graphical User Interface (GUI) Renderer, for passenger vehicles
