Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a C-17 MICAP Manager – Supply Chain (Level K) in Warner Robins, GA.
The C-17 MICAP Manager will lead a team which is part of a 24/7 call center (weekend, holiday or second/third shift support may be required) fulfilling exigent aircraft parts and material needs where first-time quality, rapid response and customer satisfaction are of the highest importance. Candidate(s) will be required to manage a team spanning 3 shifts. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is recommended but not required.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Warner Robins, GA.
Position Responsibilities
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Manage a 24/7 call center fulfilling exigent aircraft parts and material needs where first-time quality, rapid response and customer satisfaction are of the highest importance.
Manage employees who use systems and tools to determine part availability, alternate part or next higher assembly applications and best sourcing options to fulfill customer requirements within defined time sensitive performance parameters.
Coordinate with the onsite C-17 Fleet Support team
Coordinate with senior leaders supporting the C-17 program
Maintain contract performance metrics and represent the team’s performance in program review meetings.
Identify Supply Chain gaps/issues and participate in the development & execution of recovery plans
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Contract negotiations skills, USAF Supply Chain Experience, C-17 Program experience are recommended.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
3 + years of experience in a leadership role leading either projects, initiatives, or teams to meet business objectives and influence change
Experience prioritizing a high volume workload and working with multiple peers, partners, and suppliers
Experience in system compliance to include of current global privacy laws and maintenance of system and quality control
Experience supporting both internal and external audits
Must be able to travel at least 10%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical, Supply Chain or related field.
Experience leading a team
Experience navigating/negotiating government contracts
Experience with USAF Base Supply Chain activities.
