Rambling House seeks hardworking bussers/food runners who are looking to grow within the company.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Arriving on time for shift meetings
- Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating
- Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables
- Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
- Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table
- Refilling drinking glasses with water
- Bringing out meal orders
- Helping waitstaff, when available, with miscellaneous cleaning tasks
- Emptying and relining full trash cans
- Remaining aware of dangers of spills and puddles and promptly attending to them
- Answering to waitstaff for safety situations of dining room (e.g., spills)
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
Qualifications / Skills:
- Must be able to stand continuously for an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
