Position Overview:
Are you an exceptional Business Writer seeking an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We are searching for a seasoned Business Writer to join our esteemed Planning & Performance Management Department (P&PMD) at the Planning, Budgeting & Performance Management Center (PB&PMC). As a crucial custodian of the Company Business Plan, Accountability, and Quarterly Business Review exercises, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic vision and communicating it effectively to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be at the forefront of preparing compelling narratives for the Business Plan and Accountability reports. Drawing from information compiled from various organizations across the Company, you will expertly analyze data and craft engaging narratives. Your narratives will not only be concise but will also be acceptable and impactful to the Board of Directors and senior management.
Your abilities to quickly understand complex Company operations and communicate them in a clear and concise manner will be instrumental in crafting high-impact narratives. Building strong business partnerships with colleagues outside the Finance Service Line will be second nature to you, ensuring seamless collaboration and a comprehensive understanding of the organization's intricacies.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to write articles on major Company operations and projects, as well as community activities, often consulting with subject matter specialists. Your skills in storytelling, cutting through business jargon, and presenting relevant information will be the driving force behind crafting compelling content.
Minimum Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Linguistics (Secondary education in Business, FP&A, CMA, and/or CPA would be an advantage).
Possess a remarkable 10-year track record of diversified experience in a related field, preferably in Oil and Gas.
Communicate effectively in English, both oral and written, showcasing your expertise in conveying complex information in an engaging manner.
Demonstrate exceptional storytelling abilities, enabling you to present relevant information effectively.
Show proficiency in eliminating redundant information and providing high-value content.
