All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Education Agency and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Education Agency will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
PowerBI developer builds complex dimensional data models and reports from the bottom up, visualizes compelling data stories on the report canvas, collaborates with other teams to engineer revolutionary agency wide data solutions, develops and implements data visualization solutions.
4 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Required/Preferred Skills:
- 4 years, Required - Using Power BI creating dashboards and interactive visual reports
- 4 years, Required - Mastery in data analytics
- 4 years, Required - Create, test, and deploy Power BI Scripts (Python,M and DAX) as well as execute efficient deep analysis
- 4 years, Preferred - Prior experience in data-related tasks is preferred
- 2 years, Preferred - Previous experience with Source Control, Git/BitBucket is preferred
- 1 year, Preferred - Previous experience with SAS and its dataset (.sas7bdat) is preferred
- 1 year, Preferred - Previous experience with Jira is preferred
- 1 year, Preferred - Previous state experience is preferred
- 1 year, Preferred - Previous experience with BI tools (SAP, Tableau) is preferred
