Job Description: Job Title: Analyst, Business - Technical (Mid-Level Help Desk)
Description
The client seeks an Intermediate (Mid) Level Business Analyst with a strong work ethic and technical background for our client located in Washington DC. Work will be done out of Washington, DC. Remote resources will not be considered as work must be done on-site.
Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of IT experience required.
- Candidate must be self-motivated.
- Candidate must have MS Office Skills (Word/Excel).
- Candidate must be able to maintain a hardware inventory and work with the client to ship hardware to the field.
- Candidate must be able to install software in a Windows based environment.
- Candidate must be able to provide help desk support for a custom Windows based application.
- Candidate will be responsible for supporting senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Experience with PC-SAS is preferred.
- Experience with USB connected scanners and scales is preferred.
- Associate degree or equivalent or higher.
Additional Provisions
- Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
- Once candidates resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen or permanent Status Green Card Holder.
- If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the
- candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
- Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
- All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
- Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
- The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.
Place and Period of Performance
- Hours of support:
- The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday with occasional weekend support. Hours of support during the week may vary.
- Location: Washington, DC. No Remote Work
