Your day-to-day work will include:

This position supports the Office of Assistant Secretary of the Army and Financial Management & Comptroller, Army Audit Sustainment. The Business System Process Analyst will be a part of the Army's financial statement auditability initiatives. We are currently seeking a Business System Process Analyst to support audit remediation activities in the Enterprise Business System Convergence (EBS-C) team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide the Army with subject matter expertise regarding financial audit issues to assist with the development of requirements for the future state EBS-C environment, that will result in auditable Business System Processes.
• Gain an understanding of the audit issues identified within Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) that were issued by the Army's Independent Public Accountant (IPA).
• Communicate requirements recommendations that would mitigate these issues within the future state EBS-C environment.
• Review business process documentation to gain an understanding of the existing process within the client's environment to provide recommendations to the client.
• Develop recommendations for the requirements that are needed to mitigate audit risks within the future state EBS-C environment.

Experience Requirements:

• 8 years of federal financial management
• Federal accounting/financial management background
• Understand federal accounting posting logic, developing accounting process flows, and financial reporting or internal controls.

Education Requirements:

Mandatory: Master's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management

Waiverable/Substitutable: Bachelor's degree and one of the following certifications: CDFM, CGFM, CICA, PMP (No waiver required for bachelor's degree and one of these certs)

Work Type:

Onsite National Capital Region (Arlington, VA)

Clearance Requirements:

DoD Secret **Must have an active clearance for initial consideration. **

Work hours:
