This position will be a part of a team that provides front-line support to the Business Support Systems team as it relates to developing, implementing, maintaining system solutions for order entry functions and EDI clean load rates along with EDI system solutions
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and customer service concepts, practices and procedures as well as the systems that support them
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather all necessary information.
- Troubleshoot system applications, identify real or potential issues, and then escalate to appropriate support personnel or 3rd party vendors
- Assist in integration and acceptance testing; create specifications for system to meet business requirements and assure consistencies across all sites
- Provide training needs and modules to the Customer Service Department in regards to end user training in the area of system usage
- Document existing and new processes.
- Responsible for understanding and supporting order entry functionalities from all sources of EDI
- Meet with other project/business functional areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
- Effectively manage prioritizing multiple projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Ability to travel as required. Estimated travel currently anticipated for this position is ~<10% for the purpose of training, visiting other MBCI facilities, etc.
- Other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion

Education, Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of strong Microsoft Excel experience in a professional work setting is minimally required.
- College experience and/or at least a 2-year degree is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Access, etc.) is required.
- Self-motivated, team oriented, and proven ability to work in a team environment
- Solid organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Team oriented with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively across internal and external groups and across multiple departments or functions
- Ability to be highly flexible to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
