The Manufacturing firm is hiring for an IT Network Support Temp. The IT Network Support temp will Monitor daily helpdesk projects and resolve issues as first level support to user community. To provide support and training for office software used by the users and to maintain backup and security policies. To provide Office, Network & other application support and training. Provide network project support and network assistance. Company

Overview:

The firm has been around for over 100 years, they are an engineering and manufacturing of fuel systems, fuel caps, radiator caps and thermostats. Stant sells directly to the OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive and industrial markets with key customers that include General Motors, Stellantis, Daimler, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Plastic Omnium, Detroit Diesel, and Harley Davidson. The organization has vending, engineering, and manufacturing presence in the US, Mexico, China, and Europe. 

IT Network Support Key Functions: 

• Program and operate Mitel VOIP system. Voice Mail system. Monitor traffic flows and traffic volumes to determine when telecommunications expansion is required. 

• Coordinate calls and questions from users for the Helpdesk. Responsible for logging all calls in Trackit and serving as first level of support. Referring issues to the correct support personnel for secondlevel resolution as needed. 

• Maintain network backup and security policies to ensure that all backup procedures are followed.

 • Provide users of Office Automation software with technical support, training, and general assistance. Schedule usage of loaner phones, laptops, etc. 

• Coordinate installation of CAD software with OpenText on Engineer/Designer computers. 

• Maintain software licensing documentation. 

• Perform daily operations and assist in other areas of IT as requested.

 • Provide new associates with new employee orientation & assist with initial equipment setup & access. 

• Maintain computer hardware and software inventory. Perform software license audit procedures to reduce liability of illegal copies of software. 

• Support Wireless Networking – Hardware/software & user support.

 • Contact vendors concerning procurement of computer hardware and software. Schedule repair and maintenance personnel to maintain maximum up time of all equipment. 

• Assist in other areas of IT as requested. Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent minimum 2 years of experience. 

• Strong Project, Organization, and Time Management skills. 

• Strong communication skills. Effectively communicate with customers and peers. 

• Ability to manage and engage third party resources. 

• Ability to develop and deliver solutions to business functions.
