Position Overview

The Business Analyst provides analytical, planning and coordination support on projects as assigned. Responsible for reviewing, interpreting, analyzing and illustrating data in a manner that stimulates and supports innovative and enlightened thinking and decision making. Provides analytical and database support. Develop, implement, and monitor specialized tools and apps for the division. Responsibilities include Business Development support; database creation, development, monitoring, reporting and maintenance; tool or app development and monitoring, ensure overall data integrity.

The starting pay for our Business Analyst is $75,000 per year. Essential Job Function
  • Partner with business leaders, departments, and employees to develop, implement, and manage specialized reports, tools, apps, and/or work lists based on business needs.
  • Manage any ad-hoc or specialized reporting or business analysis requests.
  • Manage the Reports publication and Automatization process.
  • Complete project activities on time and within budget, and proactively identify and communicate issues that may jeopardize milestones or project budget to the Medical Solutions Leadership team and Corporate Business partners.
  • Collect and analyze healthcare data from various sources from conceptualization through presentation of the data.
  • Ensure that data integrity or accuracy problems are identified and resolved.
  • Maintain regional dashboards and quarterly update reports.
  • Maintain working knowledge of market trends, healthcare business and project management methodologies and other relevant tools.
  • Adheres to the Aveanna Compliance Program, including following all regulatory, Aveanna and accrediting agency policy requirements.
  • Accountable for taking a role in maintaining the skills and qualifications necessary to provide or support quality care, including attendance at company-wide educational programs.
  • Responsible for harmonious interactions with coworkers and customers, including patients, family members, vendors and the general public.

Requirements
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Minimum Experience: 2+ years Business Analyst experience.
  • Preferred Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience working in healthcare information systems. Knowledge of data migration, software enhancement/planning, and Agile preferred. Progressive experience in healthcare strategic business plan development and analysis as well as healthcare financial planning.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Ability to determine target audience and create communications that are clear, concise and understandable.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, including system, process and business analysis for problem solving, product evaluation, and effective organization of responsibilities.
  • Competent to work with minimal supervision in a technical capacity on most phases of the business systems analysis.
  • Strong Project Management skills.
