Job Description
We are seeking a Business & Quality Assurance Analyst to become an integral part of our team! You will analyze data to understand business and market trends in order to increase company revenue and efficiency. This is a 3 month contract that has the possibility to go permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with all key business and IT stakeholders of varying associate/management levels to gather and analyze business requirements, interpret needs, identify opportunities for process and technology improvement, and develop solutions that solve technical and/or business issues of varying complexity.
- Use advanced verbal and written communication skills and expert business process knowledge to effectively communicate technical and non-technical materials accurately to all project team members.
- Develop project documentation to include process diagrams, formal proposals, vendor software evaluation studies, feasibility studies, requirements specifications, use cases, system gap analysis, test cases, and testing plans.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, data mapping, data dictionary and business rule definition for implementation, conversion, and integration efforts to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy and process improvements
- Function as primary analyst on multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Use data to understand business patterns and trends
- Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research
- Communicate findings to company through standard and ad hoc reports
- Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in business intelligence, analysis, or other related field
- Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting
- Have 5-7 years of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance experience.
- Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise, and complete manner.
- Have strong analytical, problem solving, judgement and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Be naturally flexible, adaptable, proactive, and collaborative with an agile, people-oriented, innovative, and customer-centric mindset. Must be able to spot opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
- A strong understanding of systems development life cycle and QA practices are essential to the position, along with experience planning test strategies for different types of projects. Must be able to create and execute test plans and test scripts.
- Have beginner to intermediate SQL skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Salesforce/CRM experience a big plus.
