TITLE: BUSINESS PURPOSE LOAN PROCESSOR

JOB OVERVIEW:

The primary role of the Business Purpose Loan Processor is to administer and review new loan

applications, closely manage their pipeline to ensure loans close as quickly and accurately as

possible, and to interact both with our internal teams as well as customers and brokers outside the

firm. You will be expected to prioritize, and problem solve daily.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional service to our customers.

• Provides administrative support for multiple loan officers.

• Possess and demonstrate a solid understanding of Business Purpose and Residential Loans,

including Bridge, Fix & Flip, Ground up Construction, and Debt Service Coverage Ratio products.

• Manage loan workflow to ensure transactions move efficiently through all stages.

• Participate in the secondary market origination process by entering applications online and

uploading customer data to clear conditions.

• Order, compile and review due diligence for new and renewed consumer loan transactions.

• Manage tasks for consumer loans including post-closing review, collecting trailing documents,

tracking insurance, and processing paid loan.

• Demonstrate proficiency with traditional application software programs (spreadsheet, word

processing, database, and scheduling) to perform required daily tasks.

• Follow up with third party services to ensure required items are received promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrates the ability to work hard with a sense of urgency and under pressure, as needed to

handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Maintain a professional image with a clean and uncluttered work area and organized loan

files.

• Understand and adhere to all established company policies and regulatory requirements

• Demonstrate proficiency with traditional application software programs (spreadsheet, word

processing, database and scheduling) to perform required daily tasks.

• Experience with Lending Wise and Zoho software a plus.

• Flexible work hours a plus.

• Excellent communication, spelling and grammar skills

• Typing, computer, and windows-based software experience.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Self-reliant and able to work productively with minimal supervision

• Organized and efficient with strict attention to detail.

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook and

PowerPoint.

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a customer service position or mortgage position.

• High school diploma or GED required.
