Job Description
Courses will be scheduled in person during the day and evening. Please include your availability for on-campus classes and a list of courses you are qualified to teach.

The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If degree award date is not posted on transcript your application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration.
Grade cards will not be accepted in lieu of transcripts.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's in business, Business Management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing or business education
OR
Bachelor's in any of the above
AND
Master's in economics, personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)
OR
Bachelor's in economics with a business emphasis
AND
Master's in personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)
OR
Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
OR

The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
Commitment to diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how these factors relate to the need for equity minded practices within the classroom.
Desirable Qualifications
Relevant work experience in Business Management.
Experience teaching business courses, primarily in the areas of Business Writing and/or Business Communication.
Experience teaching a wide variety of management courses.
Experience teaching in the California Community Colleges.
Experience using emerging technologies in classroom instruction.
Demonstrated ability to engage students in classroom instruction.
Experience with and commitment to working with culturally and ethnically diverse groups.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Experience teaching business courses with innovative teaching practices supporting success and retention of women, students of color and students with disabilities.
Working Conditions Salary Range Salary Range: $1286.03 - $1411.29 per lecture unit rate, $1028.85 - $1128.97 per lab unit rate Salary Schedule Information
Column Range: Column 1 - Column 3 (depending on education)
