Business Intelligence Software Engineer

This is a hybrid position located in Chanhassen, MD with 2-3 days in the office.
Thales is seeking an experience Business Intelligence Software Engineer has a diverse scope of duties and responsibilities. The primary duty of the Business Intelligence Software Engineer is to transform data into insight that can help to improve the value of the business. Other duties and responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing Business Intelligence solutions for the oation
• Providing reports through office applications to improve business processes
• Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company's mission
• Collect data from live production, store in database, analyze and export in easily understandable and usable forms.
• Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to the management and executives for implementation
• Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization
• Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability

Key Areas of Responsiblity

• Develop Database for information from production equipment.
• Manage Database for information from production equipment.
• Develop production performance data dashboards, from production equipment to Access Platform (Octopus)
• Link the Dashboard with Business Intelligence (Power BI) (Azure)
• Integrate local zero balance data system into corporate Zero balance data system (Platform)Coordinating quarterly...
• Integrate data from ERP into Power BI
• Understand machine outputs to Wi-Fi, server, and Power BI (Business Intelligence) platform

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science/ Software Engineering (or equivalent)
• Well versed in Business Intelligence (BI) software
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Computer Science
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus
• Programming experience with C#, C+ and Python
• MQTT Language
• DataBase Administration : SQL and MQ
• Power BI
• HTML CSS
• Understanding SPC and OEE
• ERP Knowledge (Oracle)

Must be a U.S. Person able to obtain post-hire Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance from the U.S. State Department.
