The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. For work locations in the US, the salary range for this position is between $79,000 - $119,000 per year. The target hiring range for this position is $84,150 - $94,050.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. This includes designing, building, and deploying BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools, data models). (20%)
- Analyze business processes and requirements to develop detailed data models and reports. Develop dashboards and reports to present to management and other stakeholders. (20%)
- Develop and manage databases, data warehouses, and other data storage solutions. Work with complex data and transform it into a more usable format. (35%)
- Ensure BI systems are high-performing and accessible. This involves optimizing and maintaining existing BI platforms for scalability and stability. (15%)
- Work closely with teams across the organization to integrate BI solutions into the business process. Provide technical support for BI tools and systems. (5%)
- Ensure the accuracy and availability of data through effective data quality, governance, and security measures. (5%)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or analytics
Requirements:
- Proficient in SQL and Transact-SQL
- Experience with ETL development using tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory
- Skilled with logical and physical data modeling tools and techniques.
- Expert-level knowledge of the capabilities of industry-standard BI Tools, such as Tableau and Power BI
- Proven data analysis and storytelling
- Experience with data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes
- Understanding of Business Intelligence and data governance concepts and technologies
- Ability to analyze, understand, and document complex business processes and their underlying data
- Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills-experience working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
Preferred:
- Experience working with non-profit organizations
- Exposure to non-profit constituent relationship management or fundraising systems (Blackbaud CRM, Luminate Online, Revolution CRM, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, or similar)
- Experience working with non-profit financial systems data
