Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst I works to answer ad hoc questions concerning Vibrant’s programs and internal operations. The role focuses on: answering questions in a timely manner and conducting exploratory analyses that anticipate future questions and needs for the organization.
This role interfaces with business users across the organization to help address emerging data questions. The role collaborates with data reporting and engineering teams to support the development of new tools and system features suggested by incoming questions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct analyses to answer analytical questions.
- Develop internal tools to facilitate the timely answer of requests using Tableau, Snowflake, or code based analyses.
- Ensure responses to requests are clear, correct, and offer appropriate visualization / explanation to support user understanding of the response.
- Collaborate with Data Reporting and Data Engineering around requirements for new tools and data elements.
- Collaborate with Data Governance roles around data point and metric definitions and use.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive experience with Tableau and other BI tools.
- Ability to conduct analyses in code using Python / R / SQL demonstrated via work examples.
- Experience creating and presenting data-driven insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience refining questions with stakeholders to provide high quality analyses.
- Advanced analytic skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in analytics focused discipline or equivalent experience and knowledge.
