JOB TITLE:                        Business Intelligence Analyst

REPORTS TO:                   Chief Technical Officer

LOCATION:                       Fully Remote

BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Technology, the BI Analyst will utilize their skills to partner with ePromos business units in requirements gathering, stakeholder communications, documentation, and the delivery of custom reporting and analytics solutions. This role will work closely with stakeholders throughout the business to ensure internal customers have access to the reports and insights they need to make the decisions that run our business. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with the ability to tease out requirements from users, advise on best practices, understand/articulate the “why” behind requests, and the technical abilities to develop those requests into deliverables.

TARGET TASK(S):

• Gathering dashboard or report requirements
• Working with data engineer to get proper data
• Define items that should be transformed for reporting purposes.
• Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, NetSuite, and other tools.

Maintain appropriate physical and mental health required to perform the essential functions of position

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar preferred

Experience:

• 2+ years of Business Intelligence experience
• Experience creating reports and dashboards with Power BI
• Experience with design documentation for new data models
• A savvy business mindset with the ability to lead discussions across an enterprise, reaching across departments and gathering requirements for analytics needs

Skills:

• A data evangelist who understands and can easily articulate the value of good data and the insights it can provide
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
• Producing functional and technical documentation for solutions Excellent written and oral communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Position is fully remote to the US only
• Ability to accommodate multiple time-zones with primary ET (EST/EDT)
• Dedicated workspace and high-speed internet
• Frequent video conference/email/chat

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Maintaining a stationary position for up to 50% of the workday
• Consistently operate a computer and other productivity equipment including keyboard, webcam and document scanner
• Clarity of vision of 30” or less
• Ability to perceive sound in the capacity of oral communication
• Exertion of up to 10lbs. of force as related to lift or move of objects
