The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Data Intelligence Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Design, develop, test and publish ad hoc reports on Power BI as requested by management team and provide analysis of these reports on data visualization tools.
- Analyze and extract large data sets with multiple data types to identify trends using SQL or scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Write queries, create data architectures, and prepare data on Snowflake/Teradata for reporting tool ingestion.
- Conduct data reviews for technical gaps and collaborate with Quality Management Systems and IT teams to resolve them.
- Collaborate with business and IT Master Data Management teams to ensure tools and data support Healthcare Business Group requirements.
- Work with individuals at the HCBG global sites to determine reporting requirements within the scope of the QMS.
- Gain understanding of and continue to support data analytics policies and procedures
- Support training for divisions and functions to ensure proper use of tools and metrics related to Quality Management System.
- Assist Data & Analytics team in cloud data migration.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in computer science, engineering, statistics, business or finance from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable Data Intelligence field in a private, public, government or military environment
- Three (3) years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or Statistics.
- Five (5) years of experience in a data engineer or Business Intelligence role with a tech company in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience conducting large scale and complex data analysis to support business decision making
- Three (3) years of experience in data mining and data set preparation using scripting languages in a private, public, government or military environment
- Proficient understanding of data warehousing and data modeling techniques.
- Proficient understanding of azure machine learning models and AI workflow

The expected compensation range for this position is $103,233 - $126,174, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
