In the Business Finance Senior Director role, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by leading the finance function for the operating division.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, including hiring, performance evaluations, onboarding staff, and ensuring expectations/goals are clear
- Optimize the successful processing of transactions in the Shared Services Center
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the financial statements for the business unit
- Develop and implement a methodology to support the growth and increased complexity of the company’s business
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual results
- Develop dashboard reporting to monitor financial metrics that benchmark operations and maximize efficiency
- Establish specific milestones and associated detailed plans to ensure the long-term strategic plan is achieved
- Assess, recruit, and develop talent who can effectively support the complex and changing needs of the organization
- Develop, analyze, and integrate acquisitions for the Operating Group
- Identify, analyze, and secure approval for de novo projects (new starts)
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of sound financial controls
- Maintain an effective control environment for accounting operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience including 5-7 years of experience in financial management
- Demonstrated adaptability and efficient time management with ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to multitask with outstanding attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability in areas of leadership, personnel, program operation, and fiscal management with a proven track record of managing financial results
- Skilled in written and oral communication, community relations, and service development
- Travel required
- Share a true appreciation and passion for the company’s mission and serving others; willingness to spend time in the field to really understand how services are delivered
