Business Development Manager

Utah Housing Corporation located in West Valley City, Utah is seeking to hire a full-time, experienced, self-directed individual for our Business Development Managerposition. This Business Development Managerearns $90,000 - $100,000 depending on education and experience. Our comprehensive benefits and flexible work hours are great! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

As a Business Development Manager, you will be required to work in an ever-changing environment, be self-directed, and a strong problem solver who can provide excellent customer service while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Some of the specific functions and requirements include:

• Manage, build, promote and increase a positive awareness of UHC loan programs by developing and delivering presentations both internally and externally, assisting with onsite trainings and providing loan officer and realtor training and education, as well as attend and participate in regular events, lunch & learns, trade shows, homebuyer fairs, etc. that bring awareness of Utah Housing loan programs.
• Work with a team to develop appropriate and effective marketing materials, both print and digital media, for potential homebuyers, lenders, loan officers, realtors, etc. through cohesive branding strategies.
• Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with a diverse group of individuals including Utah Housing staff, lenders, other real estate professionals, and vendors providing excellent customer service.
• Analyze mortgage market strategies and trends and propose new business ideas to assist additional potential homebuyers with expanded or new UHC products.
• Prepare and provide reports to analyze areas where Utah Housing can make changes to assist more homebuyers in underserved areas.
• Regular travel using company vehicle throughout the state promoting UHC programs and strengthening real estate financing partnerships across the state.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Education: Graduation from an accredited 4-year university, with a major in Business, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent experience or CE Classes in Mortgage Banking and other Business Development courses.

Experience: Five years full time working experience in single-family mortgage production, capital markets, advertising, social media, customer relations, Business Development, or other related professional mortgage lending experience. Multiple years working with and understanding LOS systems. UHC, FHA and conventional mortgages. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Four years' employee management experience preferred. Previous and current engagement with mortgage-related associations.

Requires knowledge of LOS software, data presentation with multiple sources such as excel spreadsheets, charts, graphs, power point and maintaining historical data.
