Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Business Development Managerto contribute to our IngramSpark team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.
In this role, you will manage the strategic direction and execution of IngramSpark growth of services and offerings. You will oversee, actively promote, coordinate, and participate in development and growth of sales and/or service activities through engagement with publishers and authors. You'll also ensure the operational infrastructure to support new service offerings with IngramSpark and Ignite clients.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years specific market or equivalent experience in sales and Business Development
Preferred Skills:
- Book industry experience
- Experience with MS Excel to include pivot tables and V lookups
- Experience using Salesforce
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with management to oversee and direct all operations regarding the development of new services or offerings.
- Develops and drives the value proposition of IngramSpark within the IngramSpark and Ignite audience via sales and service initiatives.
- Develops reporting that measures business performance, growth, profitability and efficiency.
- Identifies potential new opportunities that promote long-term growth and proposes deals in response to business opportunities.
- Interacts with relevant business units in the development of project execution and implementation planning post launch.
- Manages the marketing strategy for new services in collaboration with Sr Manager of Sales and Marketing team.
- Conducts needs analyses for on-going training internally and externally to ensure a complete understanding of all product offerings and contractual issues.
