Job Description & Location
Our company is looking for a Business Development Coordinator with experience in sales, customer service, and/or real estate to add to our Simplicity Homes team in the Pacific Northwest. As a new Business Development Coordinator, your focus will be to support the Business Development manager in creating relationships with investors and developers, as well as the people and companies they work closely with. The main goal is to ensure Simplicity Homes is the vertical builder of choice for current and future projects. The Business Development Specialist will collaborate with the marketing department to create sales collateral, organize networking events, attend trade shows, and launch marketing campaigns throughout the regions we build.
New Home Star is the largest privately owned seller of new homes in America. You can join us in this role in assisting the sales team for a division in the capacity of Business Development, administrative tasks, and BD marketing assistance. Your role in this process is crucial, as you will act as a resource to the sales team. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be expected to travel for in person meetings, site visits, lead generation etc. Significant time spent at a desk and computer will also be expected.

Pay Structure & Benefits
  • Annual base salary $38,000-$45,000 plus a $250 flat commission per sale.
  • Paid time off which includes the following:
    • Up to ten days of vacation time accrued annually.
    • Six personal days are awarded upfront.
    • Four mental health days are awarded one per quarter.
    • Seven paid holidays.
    • Birthday off.

Responsibilities and Duties
Sales & Lead Generation - Provides the Business Development Manager with Sales Support as needed to help drive the sales process forward and provide both internal and external teams with the information they need to be successful.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Manager and Marketing Department on investor lead-generation strategies and assist with the execution of those strategies as needed.
  • Host and attend networking events, trade shows, and builder workshops throughout the regions we build
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes and the compilation of sales aids/documents for potential clients
  • Prepare quotes and marketing materials for prospective clients and draft contracts for new sales orders
  • Host design meetings and assist prospective clients with selecting materials and colors for their projects
  • Assist Business Development Manager with pipeline follow-up to keep tabs on the progression of pre-contract projects, to stay engaged with potential customers, and to maintain accurate estimated sales dates and other milestones for reporting purposes
Community/Project Planning - Coordinates with internal team members on upcoming communities and communities in-construction, managing and maintaining all community specifications, details, and system info.
  • Coordinate with Business Development Manager and support center departments while launching new communities to ensure that all internal teams are aligned, and the path forward is clear for downstream departments
  • Maintain info and specifications for communities in construction, updating the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients and their marketing teams to confirm that their needs are met and that they have what they need from Simplicity Homes to successfully market and sell (or lease) their new homes upon completion of construction.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Understanding of residential home construction process
  • General knowledge of land development process preferred Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Salesforce Abilities
  • Communicate effectively, both verbal and written to various audiences
  • Work and be productive with minimal supervision
  • Work effectively with internal team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes
  • Prioritize based on company needs and goals
  • Execute based on company needs and goals within strategic lens
  • Residential construction/development experience preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred
