Position
Allspring is seeking a junior resiliency professional who will report directly to the firm’s Head of Resiliency, inside the Operations Team. The Resiliency team runs the corporate wide resiliency program and work throughout the whole organization to mature and maintain effective resiliency. This person will support, but is not limited to the annual business resiliency activities, which include: BIA working sessions, risk assessments, strategies, plans, and testing of business function resiliency plans. Candidates will possess ability to clearly facilitate, articulate, and influence working sessions, risk assessments, and tests and have the ability to learn, write, and manage their time as a professional.
Responsibilities
- Support business resiliency activities: BIA working sessions, risk assessments, strategies, plans, and testing of business function resiliency plans.
- Support business resiliency reviews that evaluate plan effectiveness, coordinate revisions, and recommend appropriate response and recovery practices where needed.
- Support testing of business resiliency plans, influencing direction and reporting.
- Support the writing of procedures to bring consistency and clarity to the program.
- Support mass notification exercises as well as business and IT recovery simulations.
- Assist with training and reporting of the training.
Required Qualifications
- ACBP or ability to obtain within one year.
- Willingness to learn and be a team player.
- Ability to manage your time and complete tasks to effectively drive maturing and mission of the resiliency program.
- Ability to think abstractly about risks, solutions, and impacts.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbally.
- Ability to collaborate and get along, but respectfully push back and drive thoughtfulness.
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in financial services, risk or resiliency.
- CBCP certification, ABCP is fine, or capability and willingness to get certified.
- Knowledge of Fusion Risk management, AlertMedia, Jira, Confluence, Office suite.
- Easy to get along with, open to feedback, driven to be and do better.
