Position: Business Analyst
Duties: Act as a liaison between the health plan customer and internal teams during software implementation and delivery. Collaborate with Product Management, Health Data Analyst, Customer Implementation, and Quality Assurance teams throughout the project lifecycle. Create and maintain Project Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Lead customer requirements gathering and defects resolution calls. Understand and document customer end to end business workflows. Perform gap analysis between the current and future state customer workflows. Document user stories and acceptance criteria for product features/capabilities. Perform functional and data validation.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience Required: 5 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or related occupation.
Special Requirements: Must have at least 3 years of prior work experience in each of the following:
- Participation in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Requirements Analysis.
- Designing SQL queries to retrieve data from backend for analysis.
- Implementing enterprise software applications for customers in the U.S. healthcare domain.
- Collaborating with other various teams (e.g., product lead, development, quality assurance) during scrum sprint cycles.
- Composing SQL queries to understand backend table structure and documenting data field mappings between backend and UI (User Interface).
- Documenting elaborated business requirements using PRD (Product Requirements Documents) and RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix) templates.
- Creating user stories and use cases, including documenting acceptance criteria for user stories.
**Position permits telecommuting, applicant may reside anywhere in U.S. and reports to San Francisco, CA office.
Salary: $170,955 to $185,000 per year
