Business Analyst (Transportation Management System - TMS) We are currently seeking a talented Business Analyst with expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, with the ability to optimize the movement of goods from Point A to Point B efficiently. While experience with Manhattan TMS is beneficial, familiarity with any TMS platform is acceptable. Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to transportation and logistics processes.
Utilize expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to recommend and implement solutions that optimize freight movement and reduce costs.
Conduct thorough analysis of transportation data, including freight rates, carrier performance, and route optimization, to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with IT teams and software vendors to configure, customize, and implement TMS solutions that meet business needs.
Define and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements for TMS implementations and enhancements.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of TMS systems.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of TMS solutions, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in transportation management and TMS technology.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on transportation management and logistics.
Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is required; experience with Manhattan TMS is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain concepts, including freight transportation modes, routing, and carrier management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with experience in analyzing transportation data preferred.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
