Position Summary
Credit One Bank is looking for an experienced Pega Business Analyst to contribute to the activities of the Pega Development team that develops functional business requirements, assesses priorities, and participates in making technology recommendations to support & enhance business operations.
Specifically, the individual in this position will take requirements for changes, fixes, and enhancements for Pega tool and interface with the Pega Development team to validate the test results. Additionally, they will support developing business and system requirements, process flows, functional designs, testing, and validations. The individual should possess technical knowledge and skills in information management techniques, structured system development methodologies, and software development tools.
Essential Job Functions:
- Formulate and define proposed solutions, objectives, and scope with an understanding of related business systems and industry requirements.
- Work with teammates to identify and document requirements for Pega applications and use this information to support continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Assess application needs, determine possible solutions, and develop system requirements.
- Assist in leading projects with the desired result of high quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Document business processes/procedures while identifying gaps.
- Perform quality check and control functions as it relates to development work to ensure that the work product meets and exceeds established business standards and practices.
- Assist the QA team in reviews and make sure all requirements are addressed and updated.
- Work with stakeholders to follow the requirements and processes for best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
- 2-4 years of working experience in gathering business requirements and system analysis in an agile environment
- Experience as a Business Analyst for Pega PRPC or Pega Customer Decision Hub teams
- Understanding of one or more quality/project management methodologies (Lean Six Sigma/Agile)
- Collaborate with team members and conduct deep dive analysis.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills: ability to convey technical information to non-technical and technical professionals.
Preferred:
- Pega CPBA certification
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Strong Jira experience
