St. Jude seeks a highly motivated and outgoing critical thinker to join our Information Services (IS) Client Services Operational Service Delivery Department. As a member of Client Services, you will operate in a team environment with a strong people and customer-centric culture and be in a position to help drive the growth and success of the IS department through customer and IS team interactions and by driving Operational support initiatives.
Core responsibilities involve enhancing the Operational Support framework, assisting in facilitating process improvement workshops, and fostering growth in overall IT Service Delivery maturity across the department. Duties include collaborating with members and Management of IS Client services, Research Information Services and individual service stakeholders to create, implement and monitor operational service delivery improvements. This work involves analyzing existing processes and practices, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies related to the goals to achieve the desired outcomes. This position will be actively engaged and may even lead key strategic projects directly.
You will leverage your passion for creative- and forward-thinking, storytelling and visualization, and change advocacy to position the IS department for success in delivering a phenomenal technology experience for St. Jude associates across the institution.

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in meetings with business teams to elicit and understand business/process requirements.
- Conduct analyses to report emerging business needs; escalate problems when required.
- Support resolution of needs and requests of business teams within area, in coordination with other IT teams.
- Independently conduct activities related to assigned area (including documentation, communication with business teams) around enterprise IT platforms/services.
- Assist in optimization of standardized/pre-described business requirement gathering support processes in assigned area.
- Periodically present results to team in project meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Business Analyst I:
- Some experience and/or understanding of structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Some experience and/or understanding of identifying and documenting business IT problem statements, application support, business process design and/or technical documentation preferred.
Business Analyst II:
- Minimum requirement: Two (2) years of experience in a client-facing IT role.
- Experience working with structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience leading discussions, identifying and documenting business IT problem statements, business process design and report requirements.
