Business Analyst

Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst This position supports the development of applications
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Gather and analyze requirements by collecting and capturing relevant information.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Act as a liaison between development team, stakeholders, and users.
- Facilitate the gathering of business-focused requirements to define the backlog and consider the user's perspective.
- Document and share findings, including Requirements Backlog, Test Cases, and Release Notes.
- Create user stories to support development and deployment processes.
- Assist in managing Application Service Tickets.
- Help in writing and reviewing procedural documents for project and personnel management.
- Collaborate with Product Owner and users to determine operational objectives and gather requirements to enhance usability and user experience.
- Ensure that the solutions developed meet the business needs and requirements.
- Perform Scrum Master duties as the primary or backup.
- Aid the Product Owner in writing user stories and refining acceptance criteria, aligning them with objectives and key results.
- Proactively suggest ideas to enhance value for clients and address potential roadblocks.
- Enjoy resolving product-related questions and technical challenges.
- Facilitate meetings to foster collaboration between technical and non-technical partners for innovation and problem-solving.
- Utilize applications like JIRA, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio in non-production environments for testing and demonstrating product features.
- Embrace and apply Modern Delivery practices and actively participate in agile ceremonies.
- Utilize available technology passionately to contribute to product development.
- Collaborate with technical delivery team members and Operations to define technical requirements within acceptable criteria.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of financial services work experience, preferably combined with agile software development
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
