Optum Care HouseCalls division is seeking an Associate Business Analyst with excellent analysis and communications skills along with healthcare experience. You will also be responsible for analyzing and reviewing data for Business Operations planning. You will also be expected to interpret and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and use it to tell a meaningful story. All of these activities help to improve the quality of care and increase members’ satisfaction.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monitoring and controls activities for assigned areas of responsibility to ensure deadlines are met in accordance with business work plans
  • Track and report on Business Operations execution and monitoring action plan commitments and progress for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Ability to create and develop strong working partnerships within the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience related to business analysis, healthcare operations, process improvement, or project management
  • 1+ years of experience working directly with large, complex, high volume data sets & data systems and translating to a meaningful, visual output
  • Immediate+ Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Previous experience with defining and supporting implementing enhancements to Business processes
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving utilizing multiple sources of input
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a large, highly regulated environment
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Healthcare experience
    • Medicare business experience
    • California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for California/Colorado/Connecticut/Hawaii/Nevada/New Jersey/New York/Rhode Island/Washington residents is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour.
