Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership to address project scope, requirements, and impact to various programs.
Document requirements, create functional specifications, process mapping, and flowcharts.
Participate in design sessions.
Identify and lead improvements in business processes, workflow, quality, and overall efficiencies.
Work with product owners and feature leads to ensure requirements are adequately represented.
Validate the functionality of end-product by supporting Quality Assurance test strategy.
Analyze user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop and/or modify applications.
Ability to capture and appropriately communicate business requirements (functional and non-functional requirement).
Development of requirements traceability matrix for usage in development and quality assurance.
Business case development and support of project estimations.
Qualifications:
Education and Years of Experience:
Six or more years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with telematics and/or IoT platforms.
Experienced in iterative and agile methodologies.
Process definition and business transformation.
Two or more years of JIRA experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Business processes definition – from business objectives to application process definitions.
Systems Development Lifecycle Experience (definition, design, testing, roll-out).
Gap Analysis (business requirements evaluation vs. best-in-class practices).
Experience working in automotive industry preferred.
Experience working in IT consulting for enterprise-level clients preferred.
Min Citizenship Status Required: Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
