Job description

As a Project Manager/Business Analyst within Global Shares and Operational Transformation and Strategy (OTS), you will support the Global Shares Operations Workstream and working on Shareplan and Wealth management initiatives. Closely working with the integration of Investment Solutions Trading, moving client accounts into JPMC client onboarding processes and Transfers business and Middle Office teams by participating in projects and providing support for various initiatives. You may be involved in multiple projects or initiatives, working across the whole project lifecycle, researching new projects, business process changes, or system modifications. Through strong partnership with Business, Operations and Technology counterparts you will work on project deliverables that are aligned with business and technology strategies. The project manager will prepare documentation detailing requirements and business priorities, documentation of test plan and test cases, release notes and user guides.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with various areas of Operations, Middle Office, Finance, Technology, and Senior Management to build business requirements, procedures, and processes. With guidance, develop and implement solutions that strengthen business operating models, enhance the client experience, and improve efficiency and controls.
  • Project analysis, including documenting business requirements, detailing issues, and risks, and drafting business processes and data flows.
  • Data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions.
  • Identify gaps between applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and participate in driving resolution of mitigating controls. Provide implementation support, inclusive of testing and process change management, and ensure those implementations meet requirements established by Oversight and Control partners.
  • Work with business partners to design and implement enhancements to existing processes and/or business applications, introduce new processes and/or toolsets, and engage in process re-engineering.
  • Define user acceptance test plans and test cases, coordinate, and execute user acceptance testing and interpret, assess, and communicate results to enable signoff on deliverables.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on specific areas within the Investment Solutions Trading and Transfers Business. Work with minimal direction/independently, keeping management informed of progress and escalate issues.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years business analysis / project management experience and leading programs
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Intelligent Automation tools such as Xceptor, Alteryx, Signavio for Process Modeling, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives.
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize issues/workload.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Specific project activity may include:
    • Documenting current and future state operating models
    • Documenting policies and procedures
    • Developing and delivering client and internal communications
    • Research and clarify business requirements so technology can deliver appropriate technical solutions.
    • Planning and coordinating UAT and regression testing for key applications
    • Metrics reporting and status tracking.
    • Lead progress status meetings at the operational and project level.
  • Ability to come up to speed quickly on new subject matter.
  • High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work independently.
  • Project activity and schedule may require weekend work from time-to-time.
