The Business Analyst will plan research, analyze, and recommend changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Develops process documentation and project plans. Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. May deliver training to impacted business units.
Supports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insights to stakeholders for decision-making or solution development. Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from various sources and transform data into usable metrics. Constructs data sets, monitors data quality, troubleshoots, and resolves database issues to ensure data integrity. Utilizes scripting and querying tools to produce reports, data files, and dashboards. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities (other duties as assigned):
- Perform analysis on inventory losses and provides details as to what occurred and provide options to resolve in future.
- Oversee and analyze the Point System for production.
- In charge of floor stock contracts (analysis, storage, follow up, billing, etc.).
- Compiles and oversees the budget for Operations.
- Aides with internal and external Audits
- Profitability review at product level
- Review budget compared to actual by department.
- Provide analysis for Sales and lab team to enable them to better understand product success.
- Create and analyze lab metrics as requested.
- Provide pivotal analysis role in digital transformation projects on ongoing basis.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:

Critical thinking regarding process and data driven decisions.
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or Business Administration required.
Min of 2 years or more of related experience required.
Accounting experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Salary Description
$60-$75k
