Business Analyst

LightFeather is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team, which is at the forefront of leveraging data to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency. Our current focus is on a data science-oriented project, employing cutting-edge techniques to tackle complex issues. In this role, you will be essential in bridging the gap between our technical teams and operational excellence, ensuring not only the success of our projects but also their scalability and sustainability.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our data science project, gathering requirements, designing project plans, and building training aids to ensure smooth adoption and maximum impact. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical analytics skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of digital transformation in government services.

This Position is Full Time, Remote.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize analytics and research capabilities to deliver clear and focused communications across products, channels, and organizations.
• Support digital customer service requirements, business needs, preferences, and compliance behaviors.
• Provide comprehensive program management support, including policy formulation, stakeholder coordination, report preparation, project status monitoring, and resource management.
• Offer ongoing support to the analytics team by advising and assisting in the development of predictive models, AI solutions, PowerBI reports, and analytics strategies.
• Document core analytics data models and governance frameworks.
• Design and document training aids for predictive models, AI solutions, and PowerBI reporting to ensure scalability and reuse.
• Assist in transition-out services towards the end of the project period, ensuring no disruption in service availability and quality.

Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizenship.
• Active IRS clearance - Public Trust or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of comprehensive knowledge and experience in Business Analysis, with a strong understanding of data science projects.
• Proven track record of leading major technology assignments and delivering impactful results.
• Exceptional ability in conducting organizational studies, designing systems, and simplifying complex processes.
• Advanced skills in preparing detailed documentation, including operations and procedures manuals.
• Ability to function as a technical expert and a leader, with experience supervising team members preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
