A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements for software projects.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions to understand the needs of various stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams to communicate requirements effectively to development teams.
- Analyze and prioritize requirements, considering factors such as business value, feasibility, and impact on existing systems or processes.
- Identify dependencies and potential risks associated with requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and designers to design solutions that meet business needs while adhering to technical constraints and best practices.
- Ensure that the proposed solutions align with the organization's goals and strategic objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in a Business Analyst role related to application management or implementation
- Experience using various systematic tools to define workflows, document requirements, track work progress and plan tasks.
- Experience working with complex business processes, identifying requirements, and evaluating potential solutions.
- Experience collaborating with both business users and technical developers.
- Experience documenting requirements, identifying dependencies, and ensuring the quality of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infor multi-tenant OS and related products
- Experience with Infor Talent, and Infor Work Force Management applications.
