Address Our client, a popular airline, is looking for a freelance Business Analyst to join their team for about 40-hours/ week, ongoing.
As the Business Analyst, you will be working on digital products, creating highly detailed product documentation and liaising between the Development and Product teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Development and Product teams on a customer-facing digital product across Mobile, Web,and kiosk platforms.
- Carefully document functionality for products with more than 300 screens
- Distill complex, technical information into words and flow charts that can be understood by all business units.
- Understand design requests from designers and the response from Development about product capabilities and functionality.
- Carefully plan out presentations to prevent errors and eliminate confusion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience working with Digital Products as a Business Analyst
- Experience documenting complex products, taking a logical, systematic approach to avoid errors.
- Able to translate technical information into words/ diagrams that everyone will understand.
- Understand SQL and data analysis on an intermediate level.
- Experience with Data Analysis and pulling reports
- A basic understanding of UX/UI processes
- Understanding of business processes and problems when working with digital products
- VERY detail oriented
- Provide work samples
- Take initiative to solve problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Airline experience is nice to have - understanding of travel regulations: no fly lists, entry to countries (visas etc)
- Nice to have: experience working with Self-service kiosks and/or Global distribution systems
Must have Softwares:
JIRA and Confluence
Vizio/lucid or similar
Figma as a viewer not a user
Nice to have Softwares:
Sabre or other Global Distribution System software
