Our work depends on a Business Analysis Sr. Advisor joining our team to support our TSS PMO team activities.
At GDIT, our people are at the center of everything we do. As a Business Analysis Sr. Advisor supporting TSS PMO team, you will be trusted to work with JIRA and MS Project. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Understanding of requirements, requirements mapping, identifying and analyzing business and technical requirements, requirements tracking, requirements management, writing, documentation and testing, utilizing Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Quality Assurance Management (QAM)
- Business development, process improvement, change management, and project schedule development
- Functional testing of software and applications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) AND 5-plus years of relevant experience, OR a Master's or similar advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience. MBA is a plus
- 3+ years experience with MS Office suite including Visio and Project skills
- PMP, CSM certification, process improvement, requirement management and/or Business Analysis certifications a plus
- Strong analysis, problem-solving experience (requirements analysis, documentation, user stories), ability to gather and analyze information skillfully
- Exceptional abilities and experience to interpret and untangle customer requirements and can guide them down a path to understand the requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams, good decision-making, ability to work independently and deliver on time with quality
- US Citizenship required
- Will need to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Strong Experience with JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence
- Experience with SDLC in a Hybrid (Agile + Waterfall) environment, functional testing, UAT
- Firm understanding of both legal and technical terminology
- Experience and comfortable in a project start-up environment

The likely salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
