Business Advisor/Field Support Specialist - Signarama
SUMMARY: We are actively recruiting for a consultative Business Advisor/Field Support Specialist to help ensure the on-going success of Signarama franchise owners. Your duties will include increasing productivity and profitability, improving marketing strategy and sales results, and troubleshooting operational challenges for our franchise partners. This role provides franchisees with support and training for all Signarama locations in assigned region.

Job Description
ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Business Advisor/Field Support Specialist, you will play a key role traveling to visit all franchise stores within your assigned territories with the purpose of understanding and defining their needs.
Specific duties for the role include:
• Implementing franchisee store technical and marketing Set-up Program; 40 hours technical/operations setup; 40 hours marketing setup; operation. training and marketing assessments.
  • Improve processes by recommending operational changes.

• Increasing gross sales revenue & profitability in assigned region.
  • Analyze financial records, including P&L statements and preparing business plans and setting goals.
  • Identify opportunities for future business development and expansion.
  • Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies.

• Understanding the Retail Sales environment and franchise lifecycle.
• Training and reinforcing the franchise model, system, and best practices.
• Compiling brand compliance data; reinforcing compliance.
• On-going learning of new and upcoming products for sales & brand awareness.
• Participating in regional meetings; completing, maintaining, and processing required paperwork for site visits.
• Maintains a high level of knowledge and skills in all areas of operations and training.
• Consults with franchisees to define needs or problem areas and develops solutions.
• Maintains regular communication between franchisee and Support Manager and/or corporate team.
• Follows up with franchisees on weekly/bi-weekly basis, virtually or in-person to ensure best results (min. 1 in-person visit/annually for every location in assigned region).
• Helps franchisees upgrade their image.
• Completes, maintains, and processes required paperwork, records, and daily reports.
• Maintains daily and weekly schedule in Microsoft Outlook (minimum of two weeks in advance).
• Travels minimum 50% in and outside region.

Specific qualifications for this business development role include:
  • Previous experience working as a Business Advisor in a related (preferably Sign) industry; experience in franchising a plus.
  • Proficiency in analyzing budgets and P&L statements.
  • Knowledge of retail marketing strategies and branding.
  • Experience in project management and implementing best industry practices.
  • Ability to advise on labor, vendor/supplier procurement challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills toward efficiently communicating new business processes and procedures.

• Eligible driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Technical aptitude and ability to quickly pick up new technologies
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office products
• Schedule flexibility and willingness to travel minimum of 50%
• Experience with graphic design software, point-of-sale, and accounting software
