The primary role of the Business Account Executive to ensure an excellent experience of our customers Someone who can effectively identify opportunities, conduct outreach, and drive deals through the funnel, owning closing and end-to-end activation. About us
We are a greenfield organization, founded in 2022 and based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the mission to bring reliable, high-speed Internet access to small towns in the Midwest. We have an experienced team of telecommunications executives, who have previously built and operated fiber optic networks and have a $250M equity investment from an experienced, telecommunications investor, Oak Hill Capital Partners. We began construction in several cities in Northern Ohio and expect to begin providing service to customers during the 4th quarter 2022.
Responsibilities
- Qualifying prospective customers from a defined territory/vertical
- Engaging prospective customers about Omni Fiber's business
- The AE is responsible for generating all sales leads through a variety of prospecting tactics and working all leads from initial contact to sale.
- Using solution-based selling to understand customer needs and communicating the value proposition.
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Working with Sales Managers to move customers through the funnel and activate them.
- Place orders through order management software
- Demonstrate selling skills and product knowledge.
- Becoming a product expert on Omni Fiber's Business, its market positioning, and solutions it offers, backed up by relevant, compelling case studies.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities.
Required Experience
- At least 2 years of demonstrable full small/medium business sales cycle experience
- Excellent communication skills and articulation over the phone
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and internet fundamentals
- A keen interest in commencing a career in a high performing sales culture.
- Current US work authorization
It's preferred if you have:
Bachelor's degree in finance/Business related subject
- Telecommunications Experience
Compensation
- Target compensation is $50,000 and up to $100,000 for potential.
