Requirements:
- Must be able to participate in a full-time training program which include permit training to pass written test at the DMV.
- Must be able to commit to 100% attendance during the training process.
- Drive a transit bus and transport passengers around Gwinnett County and surrounding areas in safe and courteous manner.
- Greet passengers, ensure fare payment and maintain a safe environment.
- Notify dispatch of any incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
- Other duties as required
- 21 years old or older with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license in good standing and no more than 3 points.
- Excellent customer and communication skills
Physical Requirements Include Ability to:
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Move up and down stairs easily
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to pass DOT Physical and Drug Test.
- Must be able to pass Background Check.
